We appreciate your interest in Chem-Dry Simcoe County
First of all I must point out that we are not a brand new company. No, in fact we have been in business for 29 years. You would be familiar with our original name Barrie Chem-Dry. One of the very first franchises in Canada. Recently, we underwent a brand refresh, therefore at the same time we decided to change our name to Chem-Dry Simcoe County in order to include all areas we service which is all of Simcoe County not only Barrie. It’s the same owners with the same great service, Kevin and Laurie Brown. Kevin and Laurie have worked as a successful team for the past 28 years. Along the way, their three children Tyler, Justin and Meghan have all worked within the company until they have pursued their own careers. Tyler is now a custom home builder with his own company Oaklea Homes, Justin is a millwright, who also works for the Ministry of Natural Resources as a fire fighter each summer. Meghan is currently unemployed and enjoying life travelling around the world. Kevin and his technicians on the truck are providing outstanding, quality service.
Testimonials continually state “excellent job”. Customers admire him for his dedication on each and every job. No job is completed until Kevin is 100% satisfied with the job, then he presents his finished work to the client. This is the wow factor. If we can’t please the customer then we don’t deserve them as a client. If a stain comes back so do we. Recently, we had our master franchise bought out by an American Company Harris Research International. Chem-Dry is the largest carpet cleaner in the world with franchises in 52 countries. Laurie has loved working in the office. Speaking to her clients daily over 28 years has built up many friendships. Marketing to both new and existing clients keeps them informed on upcoming specials. They became ISO registered with Chem-Dry Canada.
More and more clients are becoming aware of the fact that Chem-Dry Simcoe County has a store front and has retail product for sale. But more importantly they can conveniently drop off their area rugs and have them cleaned and protected within a matter of a few days. AS many of you know, Laurie was in car accident 10 years ago and has been left with a disability “dystonia” and can no longer work. Samantha has taken over Laurie’s role in the office from 8 to 5 Mon-Fri.
